This morning Sprint and Research In Motion have made the BlackBerry Style 9670 official. This would be the first CDMA BlackBerry device featuring BlackBerry 6. The BlackBerry Style will have a full QWERTY keyboard, 5MP camera with flash, come in Royal Purple and Steel Grey colors, external high resolution display (240 x 320), internal high resolution display (360 x 400), built-in GPS and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), and 512 MB Flash.
Well it appears the BlackBerry 9670, Style?, Oxford?, clamshell phone is set to be released October 31st by Sprint. It now looks like this may end up being an exclusive for Sprint. Now what is somewhat puzzling is the name ‘Oxford’ in the slides, from everything we have heard the device was going to be named the ‘Style’. It could just be that the slides are old and the name was never changed on them, guess we will just have to wait and see how Sprint releases this device.
This would make the second device to be released and run BlackBerry 6, and the first for a released CDMA device.

Looks like the BlackBerry Style just can not stay away from the camera. In two different videos the first one above showing the hardware and compared with other BlackBerry devices like the Pearl, Pearl Flip, Bold, and the Storm2. There really is not anything new hardware wise since driphter.com first caught the BlackBerry Style on camera. The second video below shows off the BlackBerry 6 OS sporting a newer version (6.0.0.203) than the one posted awhile back.

The BlackBerry Style 9670 has shown up in Sprints internal system which leads me to believe that the BlackBerry Style may be announced during the BlackBerry Developers Conference next week. It was just yesterday that we reported the BlackBerry Style passed through the FCC.
