OS 5.0.0.1015
Verizon Wireless has officially released OS 5.0.0.1015 for the BlackBerry Storm2 9550. This OS was leaked awhile ago and while it has a few issues, it is a far better version than the last two releases which had several bugs in them. BlackBerry Storm2 9550 owners see some more love with a new leak, OS 5.0.0.1015 has made it’s way online. While it’s not BlackBerry 6 and it comes on the coat tails of several BlackBerry 6 leaks it is a higher build. I don’t think I have ever seen an OS with this high of a build before. Another official release for the BlackBerry Storm2, this time it is for the 9550. Last week 5.0.0.895 was leaked and unfortunately it was plagued with digital breakups during calls. Hopefully this release by Inland Mobile fixes that issue and brings some new features. Still no new release by Verizon wireless.

BlackBerry Storm2 9520 users, Vodafone has now made 5.0.0.973 an official release. Head on over to the Vodafone BlackBerry website and download this official release. Be sure to scroll all the way down the page to find the download link.

Well it has been a long time since BlackBerry Storm2 9550 owners have had a leak, but at long last 5.0.0.895 has shown up. I for one am glad a new build has come out. Hopefully Verizon is testing either this version or a newer one and will eventually make its way out from big red.
