A new leak for the BlackBerry Curve 9300, this time version 5.0.0.977. Even though the 93×0 devices are slated to get BlackBerry 6 it seems like RIM is still churning of OS 5 versions.

AT&T has finally announced that they will be carrying the BlackBerry Curve 3G (9300) and the BlackBerry Pearl 3G (9100). The BlackBerry Curve 3G will be out in time for the holidays and will cost $99 with no rebate required. The BlackBerry Pearl 3G which everyone was wondering if it would even see the light of day at AT&T will be available October 17th and will cost $149 with no rebate required.

Verizon Wireless and Research In Motion announced today the new BlackBerry Curve 3G. The BlackBerry Curve 3G will ship with BlackBerry 5, and will be BlackBerry 6 ready. It will be available in Charcoal and Fuchsia Red and also comes with 512Mb of memory, 2mp camera, trackpad and several other features. It will be available for $29.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement on a voice and data plan. Looks like it will be hitting business sales channels beginning Sept. 16. Then after that, it will be available for purchase online and in stores in the coming weeks.
One thing that baffles me is why they are releasing this phone with only a 2mp camera instead of least a 3.2mp. I realize that this may be considered a budget phone but I just don't get their logic on this one.
Earlier today Verizon Wireless and Research In Motion announced the new BlackBerry Curve 3G which will be BlackBerry 6 ready, and there is already a leaked OS for the 9330 on the same day of the announcement.
The last reported OS that we know of for the 9330 was 5.0.0.857, now there comes a huge jump to BlackBerry 6 (6.0.0.212) and it seems more than likely that it will sport BlackBerry 6 at launch, assuming that Verizon signs off of it during their testing.
